Dr. Melinda Ketring joined the practice in January of 1999. She is originally from Dayton, Ohio and spent her entire college career at The Ohio State University. She graduated in 1997 earning her degree in veterinary medicine. She gets to enjoy the best of both worlds by working part-time and being a wife and mom full-time. Her special interests include spending time with her friends and family (including her pets, of course), playing classic video games (Donkey Kong rocks!), and teaching her kids music appreciation through repeated exposure to anything by Bon Jovi. | ![]() |

She has a special interest in treating exotic pets and will happily research any bird, reptile or small mammal problems. She earned her bachelors degree in chemistry from Princeton University, where she learned the fine art of making liquid nitrogen ice cream. She shares her home with two foxhounds and a box turtle and enjoys taking the dogs on long muddy walks in the woods. Dr. Krumanaker is originally from California, so she consoles herself through the Midwest winters by learning to knit ridiculously long scarves- it’s hard to tie off! | ![]() |
